CR-CIT 2The UNESCO Chair on Community Media, University of Hyderabad, is pleased to announce the publication of Version 2.0 of the Community Radio Continuous Improvement Toolkit (CRCIT). Supported by the Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia (CEMCA), our team had worked through a participatory process to produce the first version last year.
Since then the toolkit has been field-tested by community radio stations in India and Bangladesh, and this new version is an outcome of the learnings of that process. Version 2.0 has a substantially new chapter on the Self-Assessment and Peer Review Process (SA&PR) that we recommend if stations decide to use CRCIT. Please fee free to download and use it at your convenience. We will be grateful for any feedback from users so that the toolkit itself can be continuously improved.
